Halloween in Colorado Springs is one of my favorite times of year! Between the changing leaves, crisp fall mornings, spooky events, pumpkin patches, and all the seasonal treats popping up around town, there is so much to love about October in the Pikes Peak region.

Whether you’re planning a family-friendly Halloween weekend, looking for the best neighborhoods to trick-or-treat, or hoping for a spooky night out with friends, I’ve rounded up some of the best ways to celebrate Halloween in Colorado Springs in 2026.

As a Colorado Springs native, mom of three, and local Realtor, I love sharing the places and traditions that make living here so special. Here’s your guide to making the most of Halloween in the Springs!

1. Halloween Treats & Seasonal Drinks in Colorado Springs

Let’s start with one of the best parts of fall: the seasonal menus! Colorado Springs has some incredible local coffee shops, bakeries, and ice cream spots, and Halloween is the perfect excuse to try something new.

Here are five seasonal favorites worth checking out:

Switchback Coffee Roasters | Cinnamon Pop Tart Cap

Switchback is already a local coffee favorite, but their Cinnamon Pop Tart Cap brings a little extra nostalgia to fall. Perfect for a cozy October coffee run.

Loyal Coffee | Oatmeal Cookie Latte

If you love a seasonal latte, Loyal Coffee’s Oatmeal Cookie Latte belongs on your list. It’s a fun alternative to the traditional pumpkin spice lineup.

Kawa Coffee | Apple Pie Chai

Fall flavors aren’t just about pumpkin! Kawa’s Apple Pie Chai is a great option for chai lovers looking for something a little different.

Josh & John’s Homemade Ice Cream | Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookie Ice Cream

Colorado Springs’ beloved local ice cream shop brings fall flavors into the mix with Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookie Ice Cream. Because ice cream season doesn’t have to end when summer does!

La Concha | Pumpkin Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls

For something sweet, La Concha’s Pumpkin Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls combine two favorite desserts into one indulgent seasonal treat.

Tip: Seasonal menus can change quickly, so check with each business before heading out to confirm availability.

4. Best Neighborhoods for Trick-or-Treating in Colorado Springs

One of my favorite things about Halloween is seeing neighborhoods come alive with costumes, decorations, and families walking from house to house.

As a Colorado Springs native and Realtor, I especially love how different neighborhoods create their own Halloween atmosphere.

If you’re looking for places to trick-or-treat in Colorado Springs, these are some neighborhoods worth considering.

Broadmoor

The Broadmoor area is another beautiful place to experience Halloween.

With its established neighborhoods, mature landscaping, and mix of architectural styles, it’s especially fun to see the homes decorated for fall.

Old Colorado City

Old Colorado City offers a completely different feel, with historic character and a walkable atmosphere.

It’s also a great area to explore before Halloween thanks to its shops, restaurants, and seasonal events.

5. Trunk-or-Treat Events in Colorado Springs
