Many Broadmoor homes are located within Cheyenne Mountain School District 12 (D12). D12 is an award-winning school district serving the southwest side of Colorado Springs. D12 currently includes five elementary schools, one junior high school and one high school, and has been ranked #1 in Colorado by Niche.

• North Cheyenne Cañon Park: A 1,600-acre public park featuring a 1,000-foot-deep granite canyon cut by North Cheyenne Creek. Established in 1885, it is a popular year-round destination for scenic drives, hiking, biking, and rock climbing.
• Broadmoor Golf Club: A world-renowned, historic 36-hole golf destination set in the foothills of Cheyenne Mountain. Hosted numerous USGA championships, including the U.S. Women’s Open (1995, 2011) and the U.S. Senior Open (2008, 2018, 2025). Jack Nicklaus won his first major (the 1959 U.S. Amateur) here.
